Milagros Silva

Born in Venezuela of Spanish and Venezuelan parents, Milagros Silva was raised in Europe where she completed a BSc in Psychology and a MA in Anthropology; later on she obtained a MLS in Women’s Studies in the USA. Her passion for travel and seeing different cultures has taken her to many countries across three continents: Africa, North and South America, and Europe. It is from these travels and working experiences that she has gained insight and material for her stories. Although she has been writing for many years, it is only now that she’s pursued publishing. Her first novel, in Spanish, Cuando La Mujer se Resuelve, was accepted for publication in 2008, at the same time that a short story in English, “The Night of the 18th” was also published by Bedazzled Ink. Currently she resides in Toronto, Canada, with her partner.
